Improve memory

Improve memory

Usually, to memorize, a mnemonic method is used, which consists in using methods to fix the information in the memory (picket method, pictorial method using rhymes, visual method of keywords, method of word substitution etc.), however, practice has revealed their limited scope because they are effective only in very special cases. These methods cannot cultivate memory in the sense of increasing our ability to memorize in such a way that it is simply loaded with heterogeneous elements without any close relationship between them. As a result, the brain will be forced to put more effort into it than in direct memorization by repetition.

So, what really improves memory?

It is the education of the higher faculties of the brain to know, the coordination of ideas, attention, interest that really allows it.

The human brain has the ability to clearly direct its attention to a particular area for the time it takes to record even a complicated message. (Children can spend hours in front of a video game with incredible concentration), the emotion that accompanies this attention has the function of better fixing the memory of the message. From this, we can understand that anything that promotes attention is able to improve memory. Attention is the necessary tool to engrave information in the memory.

Attention is the concentration on a center of interest. The adult male can make himself attentive on his own initiative. This conscious and voluntary mobilization enriches communication the most. In order to mobilize a dispersed attention on a subject that is difficult to access, it is necessary to make it alive and interesting, so it will be necessary to elaborate a very ample and fruitful documentation.

Participating in a conversation on a well-known subject can give us the opportunity to deepen our understanding by motivating our attention.

On the other hand, the emulation produced by the presence of a group, the affective stimulation, the subjective images give each event its tone and allow it to be fixed in the memory.

To conclude we will say that memory prefers simple information to confused information, well-organized ideas to scattered ones, ideas that are attached to a specific context to those of which we have no idea and finally, those that respond to intellectual or emotional needs.

live hapily

Live happily  The fast pace of life, stress, occupation, frantic race, disillusionment, disappointments, the modern human being is the main victim of all this disorder. Is there a place for happiness in all this imbalance? Should we think, like Gide, that we must "taste all the earthly foods" for at least an instant of happiness? If one accepts this attitude, it would be not to know how to use the will which is the expression of a wise reflection. The action of the man, in general goes in the direction of the satisfaction of its needs and thanks to the superiority of its brain, it reaches the freedom which safeguards it from the slavery of the uses and the habits. Man is then able to find at each moment what is good for him far from being driven by unconscious automatisms. But the human being, sometimes, instead of discovering new fulfilling needs, he gets trapped in the labyrinth of false needs decided most often by other actors of consumption which present them in a

why people take up martial arts as a sport

why people take up martial arts as a sport Do martial artists practice martial arts as a simple sport or to defend themselves against likely attacks in the street or in dangerous situations? Does the choice of martial art emanate from a passion or simply for practical reasons resulting from daily life? In my opinion martial arts respond first of all to spiritual needs such as concentration, self-control, harmony and synchronization of body and mind. The elevation of all that is material is the ultimate goal of a martial arts adept, which sometimes explains the incredible feats achieved by a great expression of patience and perseverance that aims at the final goal of being "the most accomplished martial artist" imbued with a "nobility of character" according to the conception of the great master and founder of karate, Funakoshi Gichin.   The martial arts, in particular, Asian martial arts were beforehand attached to the religious practices. Indeed its pra

HOW TO MEMORISE

HOW TO MEMORISE   Is it necessary or sufficient to simply understand a principle without having to memorize it.  Does the memorization of a content necessarily require understanding? What are the techniques and tricks that facilitate and allow to memorize without psychological suffering? These are the questions that this subject wants to answer: Without denigrating the role of physical factors without which there would be a dysfunction totally, if not at least partially, preventing any attempt at memorization, the focus is on the more significant and more constraining psychological factors. First of all, we must look for the reason for any memorization, then, it will be necessary to link it to a strong emotion which strongly permeates us such as the will to succeed, it will also be necessary to link it to the feeling of the general need to emancipate oneself, to distinguish oneself. It will also have to be linked to its final objective in life in general. It is necessary to start from
